He is survived by: his wife Gussie Prejean Clause; his children, Annette Lavergne (Carl), Sherry Clause and Dean Clause; his grandchildren, Amber Lavergne, Tressie Barrett, Brody Clause and Andi Toups; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Barrett, Alex Barrett, Brooks Clause and Meredith Toups.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
