He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Broussard Bodie; his parents, Prince Albert Bodie and Dorothy Mae Wallace Bodie; and his siblings, William Bodie, Jerry Bodie, David Bodie, Lawrence Bodie and Gwen Greene.
He is survived by: his daughters, Eriene "Randy" Sam of Lafayette, Cinda Provost (Joseph) of Lafayette and Trecia Broussard of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Teralyn Broussard, Keon Broussard, Kaitlyn Sam and Joseph Provost, III; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Melasie, Kanan, Nevaeh, Kaden and Paislee; his siblings, George Bodie (Diane), Robert Bodie (Tammy), Alton Bodie, Tommy Bodie, Ethalene Bodie, Natalie Rosario and Nicole Stafford (John); and his goddaughter Kristi Peter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
