Thelma Thibodeaux Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Thibodeaux of Carencro, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Thelma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thelma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Adam Broussard and Annie Louise Grossie; her daughters, Jennifer Lynn Miller and Stephanie Ann Baker; and her siblings, Henry Broussard, Anna Reeves and Mary Helen B. Hebert.
She is survived by: her husband Ray M. Thibodeaux of Carencro; and her children, Keith Michael Thibodeaux of New Orleans, Craig Joseph Guidry of Lafayette and Julie F. Brister (Brian) of Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home Chapel (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
