He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bourgeois and Elmae Rivette Bourgeois. He is survived by: his wife Nora Bourgeois of Carencro; his daughters, Dawn Alleman Irwin (James) of Baton Rouge and Paula Alleman of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Olivia Irwin, Noelle Irwin and Elliott Irwin; his great grandchildren, Evangeline Alford, Hunter Mays, Ella Mays, Jude Melancon, Thomas Melancon, Gabriel Irwin Drude and Waylon Hingle; his siblings, Carl James Bourgeois (Jennifer Trahan) of Carencro and Sarah Ann Bourgeois of Carencro; and his siblings' children, Mark Breaux, Joey Breaux, Candace Valentine and Blair Bourgeois. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and a host of Godchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
