He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Sr. Martinez and Goldie Martinez; and his siblings, Shelia Conrad, Darryl Martinez and Alden Martinez Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lenora Hebert Martinez; his children, Duane Martinez (Patti), Denise Cavanaugh (David) and Dodie Courville (Rufus); his sister Sharon Matherne (late Harris); his sister-in-law Susan Martinez (late Darryll); his grandchildren, Jessica (Jay), Joshua (Sandi), Julia (Joey) and Nadia (Gavin); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Madison, Isabella, Emma, Ryleigh, Laila, Joseph and Eric. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (4401 7th St, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests Masses in lieu of flowers.
