He is survived by: his wife Lenora Hebert Martinez; his children, Duane Martinez (Patti), Denise Cavanaugh (David) and Dodie Courville (Rufus); his sister Sharon Matherne (late Harris); his sister-in-law Susan Martinez (late Darryll); his grandchildren, Jessica (Jay), Joshua (Sandi), Julia (Joey) and Nadia (Gavin); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Madison, Isabella, Emma, Ryleigh, Laila, Joseph and Eric. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
