We announce the death of Rita R. Williams of Cecilia, Louisiana, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 84. Rita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenny Robicheaux and Maudry Gordon Robicheaux; and her siblings, Paul Allen, Lenny, Linton, Ernest Robicheaux, Lula Carmouche, Rose Robicheaux and Mary Deanna Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Williams, Jr.; her children, Vickie Charles (Russell), Jason Williams, Tammie Williams Mouton (Robert) and Rachel Calais (Sebastian); her siblings, Moses Robicheaux, Alvin Robicheaux, David Robicheaux, Roland Robicheaux (Janella), Emma Williams, Judy Borel (Abel) and Wanda Williams (Joseph); her grandchildren, Joshua Mouton, Julien Mouton (Tia), Desire Mouton, Spencer Charles, Sommer Charles, Jason Williams, Jr. and Eli Williams; her great grandchildren, Reese, Avery, Stormy, Joshua Mouton, Austin, Autumn, August, Aunix Mouton, Emersyn Charles, Zaharri, Gilberto Ayon and Isabella Alexander; and her godchildren, Chantell Broussard and Miranda Roberts.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Cecilia (2238 Bushville Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2184 Bushville Hwy, Cecilia, LA 70521). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery (2184 Bushville Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
