It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Douet of Cecilia, Louisiana, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Douet and Adeline Landry Douet; his brothers, Sidney Douet and Whitney Douet; his nephew Michael Douet; and his parents-in-law, Alexious and Azema Stelly.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Stelly Douet; his children, Rickey Douet (Donna), Victoria Douet, Kathleen Richings (Stephen) and Adrienne Godeaux (Greg); his grandchildren, Taylor Poirier (Holden), Kimberly Pierce Cody (Christopher), Colin Richings, Grant Godeaux (Saylor) and Haley Godeaux; and his great grandchildren, Madden Poirier, Elliott Richings, Charlotte Richings, Graham Godeaux, Isla Godeaux, Nyla Pierce, Abi Pierce, Avery and Adele Pierce.
