With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alexander Louis Ruiz (Chalmette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Camille Randazzo Ruiz; and his sister Petrina Ruiz Imbraguglio (George Sr.). He is survived by: his father Gerald P. Ruiz Sr.; his siblings, Gerald Ruiz Jr. (Mary) and Cristy Ruiz Ourso (Rodney); his nephews, Gerald III (Shannon) and George Jr.; his niece Melanie (Ronnie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gerald IV, Peyton, Presley, Mianna, George III, Jackson, Madden, Ayla, Cade, Carter and Jaxson. He is also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Alex's memory to Lighthouse for the Blind.
