With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Richards (Chalmette, Louisiana), who passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raleigh Richards Jr. Loving; her daughter Brenda Richards; and her parents, Walter Cure and Marie Jourdan Cure. She is survived by: her children, Sybil Cacioppo (Anthony) and Raleigh Richards III (Shelley); her siblings, Marie, Cheryl, Walter, Billy, Larry and Bobby; her grandchildren, Learryn Richards, Devin Agnelly (Taylor), Raleigh Richards IV (Brennan), Nick Cacioppo (Elizabeth) and Virginia Pace (Colby); and her great grandchildren, Breighdon, Noah, Reese, Avery, Raleigh V and Giovanni. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
