He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Murret (Dutz) and Lillian Claverie; his wife Mary McBride Murret; his close friend Marie Mistrot Gregson; his son Gary C. Murret; and his siblings, Joyce Murret O'Brien, Eugene J. Murret (Kathleen) of Denver, CO and Marilyn W. Murret of New Orleans.
He is survived by: his child Rohert C. Murret (Cindy); his brother John M. Murret (Mary Lynn) of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandson Geoffrey K. Murret (Felicia); his great grandchildren, Alec and Ava Murret of Slidell, LA.; and his friends, Charles and Gayle Zewe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial masses and prayers may be offered in his name.
