She is survived by: her children, Troy Bennett Jr. (Heidi) and Amy Elizabeth Bennett Blanchard; her siblings, Peter Weir III, Philip Weir, Paul Weir, David Weir, Danny Weir and Carol Greene; and her grandchildren, Colby, Ava Blanchard, Mason and Isabella Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
