With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Thomas Vaughn (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley S. Vaughn and Shirley T. Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Kim L. Vaughn; his stepchildren, Amanda Nunez and Chase Nunez (Brooke); his siblings, Bob Vaughn (CJ), Mike Vaughn (Lydia), Shirley Vaughn and Judy Rosanno; his godmother Sara Oubre; and his grandchildren, Joshua Vaughn, Brittany Nagim, Rowan Stevens, Raiden Stevens and Benjamin Plauche. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
