Bankston; his spouse Darryl Bankston Sr.; his grandchildren, Kawyski T. Smith Jr., Erykah L. Smith, Terrence T. Griffin Jr., Sarah D. Griffin, Amelia A. Griffin and Aiden A. Griffin; his great grandchild Kayden T. Griffin; and his siblings, Ruffin Simon, Larry A. Simon (Shermel Simon), Alton Simon (Patricia Simon), Jerome Simon (Barbara Simon), Reginald L. Simon (Pansey Simon), Linda M. Smith (Kennith Smith), Mary L. Davis (James Bertrand) and Cornell A. Simon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
