He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Gomez and Doris Oelking (Ray). He is survived by: his son Joshua Gomez; and his siblings, Rosetta Marie LeBlanc (Billy), Timothy Paul Adley, James R. Gomez (Yvonne), Joseph Gomez, Junior Carter and Gary Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
