He is survived by: his wife Shelby Persilver Bernard; his daughters, Tasia Burgess (Chance) and Adriana Hebert (Bryce); his grandchildren, Ambre Hebert, Cy Burgess, Everly Hebert, Chip Burgess, Eleanor Hebert and Emmanuel Hebert; and his siblings, James Bernard, Cheryl Ladnier, Julie Persilver, Dawn Meche and Brenda Clements.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (3041 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA 70523). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at 215 Coushatta Dr, Charenton, LA 70523.
