He was predeceased by: his father William Cletus Ward; and his brother James Carlton "Jim" Ward. He is survived by: his wife Christine Drinkwater Ward; his stepdaughters, Carlie and Brooke Burton; his mother Peggy Bailey Ward; his siblings, Suzanne Ward Semmens (Jon) and Jon Howard Ward (Terre); and his siblings' children, Bailey Elizabeth Marquis (Michael), Caroline Grace Semmens, Stephanie Leigh Bishop (Frank), Amanda Zuniga (David) and Joshua Ward (Jessica).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Little Pass Baptist Church (2857 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA 70523). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
