It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Anthony Ledet of Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Ledet and Annie N. Ledet; his brother Charles Ledet; his siblings-in-law, Norman (Falgout), Victoria B. Ledet and Annabelle B. Ledet; his in-laws, Leo P. and Leodile L. Peltier; his uncle Louby Ledet; and his aunt Laise M. Ledet.
He is survived by: his wife Myra P. Ledet; his children, Randy J. Ledet (Jenny), Mitsy L. Dupre (David) and Danny J. Ledet Sr. (Jackie); his grandchildren, Jordy M. Ledet, Rikki L. Fangue (Jacob), Brooke F. Verdin (Shawn), Kailey Dupre (Suzanne), Kody Dupre, Danny J. Ledet Jr. (Melissa), Justin J. Ledet (Heather) and Tad J. Ledet Sr. (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Harper, Houston, Henley Tidwell, Aubri Fangue, Bethany, Tad Jr., Lenox, Jaxon Ledet, Daken, Madox Billiot and Kirsten Dcruz; his siblings, Aswald Ledet, Angela Hebert (Gerald), Susan Williams (Ron) and James Ledet Sr. (Deborah); and his godmother Della L. Rougeau. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
