He was predeceased by: his father Willard Joseph Portier; his brother Aaron Portier; his brothers-in-law, Kevin Boudreaux and Donald Picou; his mother-in-law Norma Neil; his sister Anne LeBoeuf; and his niece Madyson Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Portier; his children, Kristi Dardar (Gilbert), Shawn Portier (Tori), Brett Portier (Adda) and Brittany Boudreaux (Al); his grandchildren, Marley, Ryleigh, Breelyn, Jake, Tenley, Max, Jackson, Lane, Lyza, Emmitt and Emersyn; his mother Bernadine P. LeBoeuf; and his sisters, Ramona Brunet (Jestin), Marcia Rogers (Bobbie), Jan Moore (Matt), Marion Lirette (Michael), Rosalyn Boudreaux and Linda Hernandez (Rick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Breakthrough T1D in honor of Jerome, and in support of his daughter and grandson living with Type 1 diabetes.
