She was predeceased by: her husband James Picou; her sons, Lanny Picou and Errol Picou; her parents, Arthur Lapeyrouse and Modest Cunningham; and her siblings, Lavis, Alvin, Joseph, Waldren, Walter Lapeyrouse, Cornelia Dupre and Adeline Soudelier.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Troy Picou (Jill) and Mark Picou; her great grandchildren, Sidney Picou and Tory Picou; and her great great grandchildren, Ashton Picou and Harper Picou.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Chauvin (5232 LA-56, Chauvin, LA 70344). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
