He is survived by: his wife Melinda Sproule; his children, Johnathan Young, David Young, Carly Sproule and Wesley Sproule (Michelle); his brother James Sproule (Diane); his nephews, Jeremy Sproule (Melissa) and George Joseph Sproule; and his grandchildren, Braden Young, Jace Young, Kamryn Young, Daisy Sproule, William Sproule and Dahlia Sproule.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens Memorial Chapel (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Alabama Presbyterian Church (2091 LA-145, Choudrant, LA 71227).
