He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Whitman and Jearlene Whitman; and his siblings, James Roy Whitman, Grady Earl Whitman, Carolyn Ferguson and Linda Akin.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Whitman; his sons, Chad Whitman (Jessa) and Shane Whitman; his grandsons, Dustin, Reed, Justin and Renje Whitman; and his sister Beverly Cook (Glen).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home (312 Smith St, Farmerville, LA 71241). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dean Cemetery.
