He was predeceased by : his father John Anderson McBride Jr.; and his stepfathers, Joseph Ernest Burleigh and Ivory Folks. He is survived by : his mother Dora Jane Venable; his children, EJ McBride (Taylor), Shelby (Brad Thibodeaux) and Trace (Mikayla McKinney); his grandchildren, Drayson, Graya, Preslynn and Miller; and his siblings, Byron McBride, Priscilla Franklin, Martha (Ted Fontenot) and Melissa (Greg Matt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and family.
