He is survived by: his children, Monique Venable of Youngsville, Kristie Venable of Lafayette, Johnett Boutin (Daniel) of Youngsville and Shane Venable (Amber) of Scott; his grandchildren, Brennon Bergeaux, Alyssa Bergeaux Mann (Blair), Shailyn Brown, Shane Brown Jr., Kiersten Boutin, Kayleigh Boutin, Traelon Boutin, Autumn Ned and Brantley Venable; his great grandchildren, Landon Phillip Bergeaux, Levi Anthony-Ray Mann, Lincoln Cole Mann, Emerie Estelle Mann, Da'shai Andrus, Da'lilah Andrus, Kehlani Boudreaux, Kaizer Boudreaux and Lakelyn Roy; his siblings, Brenda Doucet (Michael) of Church Point, Gary Venable (Lisa) of Church Point and James Ray Venable (Peggy) of Church Point; his aunt Priscilla Chachere; his close friend Stephen Morrow (Sharon); and his son-in-law Shane Brown, Sr.. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Guidry Funeral Home (219 N Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
