She is survived by : her husband Wallace; her children, Christine Meche (Elroy) of Church Point, LA, Dorothy Chavis (Jerome) of Church Point, LA, Bernita "Kayse" Small (George) of Haymarket, VA, Darrell Joseph Duplechain (Yvette) of Church Point, LA and Willary "Ray" Duplechain (Nichole) of Church Point, LA; her sisters, Gladys Carriere and Margaret LaDay; her brother-in-law Raymond Duplechain (Julia) of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Jason Meche, Kierston Kelly, Gavin Duplechain, Denetra Calais, Steffon, Cody Duplechain, Summer Norris, Kimberly J.
