She is survived by: her sons, Eric Powell of Clayton, LA and Ledger Powell, IV of Ferriday; her sister Debra Watkins of Ferriday; her aunts, Maxine Mahsffy of New Orleans, LA and Mattie Evans of New Orleans, LA; her uncle Bennie Hurd of LaPlace, LA; and her close friend Blanche Weatherspoon (Otis) of Ferriday. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
