She was predeceased by : her husband John Walter "J. W." Matthews; and her son Danny Wayne Johnson. She is survived by : her daughter Brenda Kay Champagne; her son-in-law Brian Champagne of Clinton; her son Billy Ray Matthews of Clinton; her grandchildren, Amy Darlene Smith, Sandy Lynn Lee and Doug Wayne Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Jesse Cole Lee, Wyatt Mason Lee and Nathan Lee.
