She was predeceased by: her father Donald Forbes (Don); and her grandparents, Elmer, Edith Forbes, Clyde and Clodie Morgan.

She is survived by: her mother Rita Hancock, (Janette); her stepfather David Hancock, Sr.; and her siblings, Randel Forbes (LuLu), David Hancock, Jr. (Laurie) and Sheree Forbes. She is also survived by 7 nieces & nephews, 8 great nieces and great nephews and 1 great great nephew.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feliciana Baptist Church (12385 Haynes St, Clinton, LA 70722). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude.
