He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Kidwell and Della Kidwell. He is survived by: his wife Mellisa "Faye" Kidwell; his children, Brian Kidwell, Stacey Dupre (Derrick Dupre), Bridget Kidwell Thibodaux (Chad Thibodaux), Christie Evans (Basil Crawford) and Jennifer Kidwell Sinclair (Jeremy Sinclair); his grandchildren, Liam Kidwell, Ashlyn Langley (Lucas LeCoq), Conner Langley (Claire Langley), Logan Langley, Presley Dupre, Alex Westcott, Kira Thibodaux, Rylee Romano, Blakely LeBourgeois, Bella LeBourgeois, Brooklynn LeBourgeois and Easton Sinclair; and his great grandchild Evelyn Langley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
