Ronald John Rabalais Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald John Rabalais of Clinton, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Davis and Salvador Davis; his birth father Buck Russell; his daughter Mitzi Harrison Doster; and his sister Cynthia Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Harris Rabalais; his children, Grace Eleanor Russell (Brad Russell), Rachel Harrison Aucoin (Dennis Aucoin), Rhonda Harrison Herrod (McDuffie Herrod), Bruce Wayne Rabalais, James Anthony Curry (Theresa Curry) and Richard Stanley Harrison, Jr.; and his sisters, Gayle Canatella (Donald) and Althea Aubry. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
