He was predeceased by: his sisters, Reba Stone and Betty Fox; and his granddaughter Caroline Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hicks; his children, Tom Hicks Jr. (Joy) and Bonnie Hicks Cobb; his brothers, Donald Hicks (Dianne) and Ronald Hicks (Jane); his brother-in-law John Stone; and his grandchildren, Sophie (Fabian), Hadley, Karlie, John Thomas, Rebekah, David and Hannah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Clinton (12329 Jackson St, Clinton, LA 70722). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Graveside Service: To follow at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to First Baptist Church of Clinton, Louisiana.
