He was predeceased by : his parents, Eler Nichols and Melvin Nichols; and his siblings, Tommie Woods, Mildred Conley, Webster Nichols, Doc Nichols and Melvin "Brown" Nichols.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Nichols of Cloutierville; his daughters, Claudy Vallery (Dennis) of Cloutierville, Delinda Salard (Rodney) of Marco, Karen Smith of Bossier City and Audrey Edwards (James) of Colfax; and his siblings, Irene Fabian of Robeline, Maggie Kocher of Broaddus, TX, Dolly Martin of Flatwoods, Jack Nichols of Chopin and Bob Nichols of Gorum. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
