He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Carter and Maybel Rachal Carter of Cloutierville; and his sister Patricia Carter Rachal. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Rachal Carter; his sons, Ernest Carter (Dewana) and Dale Carter (Paige); his brothers, Larry Carter (Evelyn), Sherman Carter, Michael Carter (Terri) and Dennis Carter (Karla); his grandsons, Blake McNeely (Molly), Austin McNeely (Meaghan), Trever Carter (Kenzie), Peyton Carter (Brandi), Dylan Sherman, Reed Sherman (Peyton) and Christian Carter (Stevie); and his great grandchildren, Rachal and Carter.
