In loving memory of Elvie Futrell (Colfax, Louisiana), who departed this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Elvie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Anderson and Millie Anderson; and her siblings, J. D., Carter, Mardell, Laverene and Audell.
She is survived by: her husband John Futrell; her children, Diane Futrell, Brenda (Steve) and John Futrell (Linda); and her grandchildren, Prandy Guin (Robby), Chris Phillips, Joey Futrell, Ashlyn Salter and Tiffany Thomas (Adam). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church - Colfax (8789 LA-8, Colfax, LA 71417). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery - Colfax (8789 LA-8, Colfax, LA 71417).
