He was predeceased by: his wife Elvie Marie Futrell; his parents, Thad Futrell and Alice Futrell; and his brothers, Huey Futrell, Monroe Futrell, Henry Futrell, Earl Futrell and Roy Futrell.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Arrington, Brenda Phillips (Steve) and John Futrell (Linda); and his grandchildren, Prandy Guin (Robby), Chris Phillips, Joey Futrell, Ashlyn Salter and Tiffany Thomas (Adam). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
