She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Chelette and Clara Chelette; and her husband Clarence Lee Moore, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dewayne "Scooter" Lavespere, Jr. (Heather), Jennifer Edwards and Andrea Story (Barron); and her brother Tracy Chelette.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Liberty Christian Church (4280 US-71, Colfax, LA 71417). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
