He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Buron and Velma Rebecca Childers (Caldwell); his wife Millie Earline "Bill" Powell; and his siblings, Corrie La Faye Childers and Jerry Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Glorioso and Brian Childers (Barbara Ann); his grandchildren, Steve Childers, Jenna Glorioso (Matthew Trimm), Caitlyn Smith (Tyler), Mackenzie Marquez (A. J.), Hailee Childers and Seth Childers; his brothers, John Childers (Andrea) and Melvin Childers (Dolores); and his great grandchildren, Tinsley Childers and Stetson Childers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
