He was predeceased by: his mother Florine Newton Bullitt; and his brother Bobby A. Newton. He is survived by: his parent Norrall Bullitt; his wife Cindy Bullitt; his sons, Scott Bullitt (Lacey) and Chris Bullitt (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Nora, Hynleigh, Raeelynn, Weston and Matti; and his sisters, Kathy Reiten (Steven) and Ann Berry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Benny's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
