He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Fenceroy and Virginia Fenceroy; his grandparents, Spencer, Clara Fenceroy and Dave; his son Derrick Richards; and his brothers, William Charles, Melvin O'Neal, Raymond McDean and Larry Darnell.

He is survived by : his nephew Montreal Fenceroy; his wife Edna Faye; his sons, Gregory (Jeanette) and Kindrex Richards (Samantha); his adoptive son Saevyon Clemens; his grandchildren, Zenikki Caldwell, Taliya Gaines, Keuna, Shu'kenya, Kenlei and Kobe; his great grandchild DeAnthony Caldwell; his siblings, Mom Brenda Fenceroy Loche (Dean) and Rodney Fenceroy (Brenda); his niece Shanitra Loche; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Richard, Ophel Devall (Henry), Raymond (Marselean) and Maurice Richard (Felisha); and his godchildren, Darius Jones, Corridus James and Bertha James. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Loche's Mortuary Chapel (412 W Hickory Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Morehouse Baptist Education Association Building. A burial was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Trousdale Cemetery.
