We announce the death of Andy Calvin Gibson of Columbia, Louisiana, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Marvin Gibson and Fannie Mae Clark Gibson; and his siblings, Dellie "Hoss" Gibson, Julius "Hoot" Gibson and Dolores Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Barnhill Gibson; his son Marvin "Rip" Gibson (Daphne); his grandsons, Hunter Gibson, Gunner Gibson and Otis; and his stepgrandchildren, Dwayne, Jessica and Brooklyn. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and dear friends.
