He is survived by: his mother Carmen Parker May; his wife Dianne Rushing May; his children, Chuck May (Carol) and Lisa May; his brother Larry May (Patsy); his grandson James Wayne May; his parents-in-law, Bill and Lou Rushing; his brother Jody; and his siblings-in-law, Kim Rushing, Ed Rushing (Judy) and Tim Rushing.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riser Funeral Homes (7131 US-165, Columbia, LA 71418). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Welcome Home Cemetery (4805 LA-126, Grayson, LA 71435).
