He was predeceased by : his parents, Grady Harper and Addie Butler Harper; and his siblings, Louise Carter, Willie and Billy Ray Harper.
He is survived by : his wife Anne Denison Harper of Columbia; his daughter Darla James Fort (Chris); his sister Ann Burton of Homer; his grandchildren, Tori Laborde of West Monroe and Brooke Laborde of Fort Worth; and his great grandchildren, Jaycen, Zachary, Cadence, Josh and Sara.
