We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2025, at the age of 97, Adam Hymel Jr. (Convent, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Davis Hymel and Annette Ballot Hymel; his wife Pearl Brignac Hymel; and his siblings, Joyce, Chester, Richard, Hillard Hymel and Shirley Hymel Kinler.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Hymel, Jerry Hymel (Pamela), Chester Hymel, Rhonda Rios (Marco), Marlene Yoes (Mike), Darlene Marquis (Bill) and Susan Stillinger (Guy); his grandchildren, Douglas Hymel II (Tabitha), Dillon Hymel, Jeremy Hymel (Danielle), Adam McEvoy, Nicole McCloskey (Marc), Marc Rios (Rachel), Michael Yoes Jr. (Autumn), Jared Yoes, Zain Stillinger (Jessica) and Andrew Stillinger (Stevi); his great grandchildren, Abby, Lilly Hymel, Isabella, Ryland Hymel, Grace, Olivia McCloskey, Naomi Rios, Mason Yoes, Ty, Jase, Mia Yoes, Riley Stillinger, Lyla and Luna Stillinger; his brother Curtis Hymel; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Louviere and Esther Brignac. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, masses preferred at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, La.
