It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Minieville Elfer of Convent, Louisiana, who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhemena Kilburn and Joseph "Trist" Minvielle, Sr.; her daughter Jan Elfer; her daughter-in-law Dorna Chauvin Elfer; her granddaughter Melissa Elfer; her brother Joseph "JT" Minvielle, Jr. (Ruth); and her nephew John.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Pinson, David Elfer, Traci Louque (Leon) and Al Elfer, Jr.; her grandchildren, Paul Bourgeois (Courtney), Molly Pinson, Jamie Bourgeois (Lane) and Jan Pinson; and her great grandchildren, Desiree, Hayden, Trey, Maci, Avah and Riley. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
