It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Frederic of Convent, Louisiana, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Frederic; her son Clinton Frederic; her great grandchild Mason Schexnaydre; her parents, Jules Mire and Maria Melancon Mire; her sister Kathleen Andermann; and her nephew Kevin Andermann.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Schexnaydre and Patrick Frederic (Connie); her granddaughters, Tina Young (Brian) and Crystal Matherne (Ernie); her great grandchildren, Laine Cherry (C. J.), Blair, Brooklyn and Brock Matherne; her great great grandchild Sawyer Cherry; and her sibling's children, Paulette Templet (Tim), Clark Andermann (Loretta), Lisa Kidd (Gary), Cary Andermann and Carla Schexnaydre (Rusty).
