It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Frederic of Convent, Louisiana, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Frederic; her son Clinton Frederic; her great grandchild Mason Schexnaydre; her parents, Jules Mire and Maria Melancon Mire; her sister Kathleen Andermann; and her nephew Kevin Andermann.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Schexnaydre and Patrick Frederic (Connie); her granddaughters, Tina Young (Brian) and Crystal Matherne (Ernie); her great grandchildren, Laine Cherry (C. J.), Blair, Brooklyn and Brock Matherne; her great great grandchild Sawyer Cherry; and her nieces and nephews, Paulette Templet (Tim), Clark Andermann (Loretta), Lisa Kidd (Gary), Cary Andermann and Carla Schexnaydre (Rusty).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery (6484 LA-44, Convent, LA 70723-2226). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (6484 LA-44, Convent, LA 70723-2226).
