She is survived by: her children, Charles Anthony Cates, Leah Dianne Trimble and Tonia Hubbard Cates; her sister-in-law Carolyn Jeanette Magee; her grandchildren, Anthony Seth Cates (Tunde), Teresa Blackmon (Casey), Sharon Boothe (Brian), Makayla Rolon (Stanley), Zachary Cates, Elizabeth Zulak (Sebastian), Isaiah Cates, Hanna Novaleen Collins and McKennon Bragg; and her nephew Michael Magee. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
