She was predeceased by : her parents, Evelyn Ebarb McDonald and Arthur McDonald; and her siblings, Gene McDonald, Arthurine Parker and Louise Hicks.

She is survived by : her husband Jerry Tewalt; her children, Charles Tewalt, Roderick Tewalt (Stephen) and Amy Long (Chad); her brother Roy McDonald; her grandchildren, Casi Martin (John), Ryker Long and Arianna Long; and her great grandchild Everly Martin. She is also survived by cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church (4242 LA-191, Converse, LA 71419). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Converse Cemetery.
