It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Nicholson Sr. of Cottonport, Louisiana, born in Plaucheville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Nicholson and Audrey Nicholson; his stepfather Robert Travasos; and his sisters, Gail Catherine Nicholson and Carolyn Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Armand; his children, Thomas Nolan Nicholson, Jr. (Gilda) of Cottonport, Kevin Nicholson (Monica) of Plaucheville and Alisa Lacombe (Jason) of Prairieville; and his sisters, Joan Sharon of Brusly and Marilyn McCarty of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one step-grandchild, three great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
