He was predeceased by: his parents, John August Sweeney and Agnes Rogers Sweeney; and his siblings, Judith Sweeney and Phillip Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Sweeney; his daughter Paige Sweeney; and his brothers, John Sweeney, Jr. (Shirley) and Paul Sweeney (Charlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
