It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Claire Coates McElwee (Coushatta, Louisiana), who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brothers, L. C. (Hattie Sue Coates) and Billy Coats. She is survived by : her husband Michael M. McElwee of Fairview Alpha, LA; her children, Mike McElwee of Monroe, LA, Danny McElwee of Fairview Alpha, LA and Kathy Tingle (Mark) of Castor, LA; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Heath, Chad, Matt, Ashley, Hannah, Jodi and Natalie. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
