With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Bess Huckabay of Coushatta, Louisiana, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Bess Huckabay to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Woodard Morgan and H. M. Morgan; her siblings, Billy Don Morgan (Sally), Betty McCurdy (McCray) and Joann Miller (James Homer); and her close friend Willis Cox.

She is survived by : her son L. S. "Butch" Huckabay IV; her granddaughter Shields Hughes (Matt); her great grandchildren, Huck and Walker Hughes; her daughter Terri Huckabay (Donald); her grandson Steven Scott Brown; her great grandchild Miles Paxton Brown; her daughter-in-law Kay Huckabay; and her pets, Gigi, Leo and Prissy.

Memorials may be made to Natchitoches Hope for Paws (Friends All United for Natchitoches Animals) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
